Sedona

Memorial Day Monday. 

Eric and I spoke in church on Sunday AND we both taught the youth, so getting away for a long weekend wasn't an option. On Monday we took a little drive to Sedona, a quick get-a-way about 2 hours north. 

We had a great afternoon and enjoyed the sights, we can't wait to go back again and do some hiking! 

We LOVED it. 

it was a tad bit windy...

I think I need my MOM to call me every Monday and remind me to post! 

She is so good at telling me when I've missed an Instagram post...

OOPS. 

It was a holiday!

SORRY. 

I finally got my computer to the Apple store today. 

My baby got a much needed software update and got rid of some useless data. 

She is running a million times better!!! I still have a small problem with my photos, but it could be worse. 

1. My amazingly thoughtful friend Lynz sent me 

these perfect flowers! Thanks for making my week! 

 2. Speaking of Lyndsey, I made her 

yummy chocolate peanut butter squares! 

YUM. 

3. Work. 

My new task: organizing everything in these boxes,

and this isn't the half of it. 

 4. Someone at work finally did what I've

 been wanting to do for weeks. 

5. These flowers are AWESOME and 

they are EVERYWHERE. 

6. Sporting my new dress and my 

favorite camel bag. 

 7. Got my new dress from my new favorite store, Asos.

8. Oh- I'm a DoTerra consultant now : ) 

Lovin' me some oils. 

9. Took a drive up to Sedona, AZ on Monday. 

It was 20 degrees cooler! A nice break from the heat. 

10. The only McDonalds in the WORLD with turquoise arches! 

We had a fun day in Sedona. More photos to come...

scottsdale, az

Eric and I took a little field-trip to the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. 

We felt like kids again going for a ride on the little train through the park. We also enjoyed 

walking through the train museum and seeing all the incredible detail of the model trains.

After some fun at the museum, we headed to Old Town Scottsdale and walked up and down the streets going in and out of shops and restaurants. Our favorite was the Sugar Bowl. 

Such a cute fun environment with excellent food and ice cream, of course!

instagram rewind

Well, here are the photos I was planning to post last Monday! 

I didn't take many this week, but Eric and I did 

spend a fun afternoon in Scottsdale on 

Saturday, so I'm going to 

post those goodies 

next!! 

1. These beauties are everywhere!

2. I'm my Mother's daughter, 

eating a bowl of cereal in the car on the way to work. 

3. Got my Dad's secret chocolate covered strawberry 

AND grape recipe and the YW made them 

for their MOM's. 

 4. A high school girl in our ward was baptized. 

5. Got the perfect surprise in the mail from my ma, 

my favorite make-up (special ordered). 

6. Went for sonoran hot dogs again with 

Jon & Jessie and took a pic this time!! 

7. Watched a few movies I hadn't seen in a 

Looooong time!!!! 

8. Happy Mother's Day to this cool chick!

9. Had a nice visit to Target and got some goodies. 

10. I finally found a spot in my room for 

my favorite hooks!
