a date with the beach

Yesterday I needed a little ME time so I just wandered down to the beach with my book and some snacks and found myself having the BEST time : ) I was literally the only one there so I took a picture of myself to prove it because I would NEVER have done this if someone was there watching me! Just imagine me setting up the camera, setting the timer, pushing the button. sprinting to the water and striking a pose just in time for the flash to go off...i'm a nerd.

I GOT STUNG BY A BEE FOR THE FIRST TIME...at least as far as I can remember : ) 

We were at the pool this weekend, I was just chillin' on the side with my legs dangling and felt something on my right arm, brushed away a BEE and realized it was too late... he GOT ME...his stinger was stuck in my arm, thank goodness Lianna was there to save my life! She pulled out the stinger and before I knew it my arm was burning! OUCH is right, nothing a little Benadryl and a nap couldn't cure. I guess now I know I'm not allergic to bee's! Here's a pic of me and my sad face : ( and the battle wound.

We went to the park the other day and had such a fun time! 

 It was the perfect day, not TOO hot.

 I remember being able to do such fun stuff on these 

monkey bars when I was little.

I'm a tad rusty but got myself up and got a few

bachelor whaa??

I was really excited to post today...and then realized I forgot to upload the pics onto my computer before I came to the school to get online! Oops. Guess we'll save those for another day...I suppose I'll just have to blog about BACHELOR PAD. HAhaaaaaa : ) Tonight is the finale! Already! It's gone by quickly and I'm excited to see who wins tonight. It's been a fun season filled with perfect drama. I know all you GIRLS out there who check out my blog are watching...

we live on an island

After dipping ourselves in the ocean yesterday we enjoyed a picnic at whitewall with our friends and then watched the sun set from an aweosme lookout point, and managed to snap a few good photos before my feet were attacked by ants. We remind ourselves everyday that we live on a beautiful island.
