1. Survived my second week at work

with a little encouragement from my trainer :)

2. A little throwback to island life...

miss that beach and that tan body!!

3. Wrapped up this years wedding season with a

beautiful day at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa.

These flower arrangements were unreal.

a friend to the drive-in.

with all our eyes open, well kinda.

Hi, friends and family!! There seems to be a lot going on around here so I'll give a quick update! Eric is on his last week of his Neurology rotation at Maricopa County Hospital. He will be taking some time off from rotations during July to focus on preparing for his upcoming board exams in July and August. He is getting closer and closer to graduation!!! I recently started a new job at USI Insurance Agency in Tempe. Previously Webb and Greer Insurance, but they were just bought out by USI and in the middle of transitioning. Last week was my first week and so far so good! I said goodbye to Kirkland's and will miss working there, especially the people, but let's be honest-- nothing will keep me from shopping at that cute store!! I'm still working for the wedding planner at A Day to Cherish. I have a wedding this Saturday, but then things will start slowing down. For some reason people don't want to get married in the 117 degree heat... :) So there's your update!

1. We went out for a little sunset watching and decided to

explore around the Botanical Gardens, only to

find out that we were there on the only FREE day of the month!

SCORE.

2. It's the desert.

3. Yep, it's SUMMER and it's HOT.

4. Guilty pleasure.

Oh Andi.....STOOOOPPPPPPP.

5. Its been real Kirklands...but time to say goodbye to retail

and hello to a normal 8-5 job.

6. I brought some snacks in for my last day, and my

favorite manager had a gift AND a cake for me :)

7. Dad's Root Beer on Fathers Day...seemed fitting.

8. LOVE these colorful flowers in the summertime!

9. I'm technically marathon training right now, but

this heat is killin' me!! Rebekah and I went out for a

midnight run on Friday the 13th! Note: the temp was

STILL 100 degrees! YIKES.

arizona to iowa

ARIZONA to IOWA

This girl is starting to feel old with 2 nephews and 1 niece who are officially 8 or older!

It was such a special opportunity to see 2 of them be baptized! It ended up working out really well being able to travel with my awesome sis Melanie and her 3 kiddos. It took us two long days to drive to Iowa, but it was a trip we will always remember!! Movies, music playlists, books on tape, ipads, princesses and snacks, that was all we needed to survive the trip! Oh- and a few barf bags too.
