It was a little crazy during these last couple of days.

Eric's uncle passed away so we took a quick, unplanned trip to Salt Lake City. 

We took off on Friday afternoon and drove straight up.  But, we had to make a quick stop outside of Vegas to see some friends we were on Statia with and haven't seen for over a YEAR.

It was such a quick trip I didn't call ANYONE so sorry to any of you who 

might be wondering why I didn't call....Jerilyn, Carlos, Madi, Brooke, Ally : ) 

3. It was a nice break from the AZ heat. 

I miss the cool nights. 

4. 12 hours in the car...

We are road warriors. 

5. Being behind this truck made us hungry for 

DORITOS. 

6. On our way home we took a quick detour and stopped at 

Zion's National Park. 

7. Yoga in a river. 

8. COSTA VIDA. Love. This. Place. 

9. Fruit and chocolate milk.

My sister and I have always been really close. 

We're 4 years apart so when I was a freshman in high school, she had just graduated and when I started my freshman year of college at BYU-I, she had already been there, done that, graduated, married Brad and eventually moved to Texas. After I finally graduated, I ventured down to Texas and spent the summer in San Antonio. 

It was so fun to be so close to my sister and her kids! 

Something I will never forget.

Well it's 2013 now and I'm so excited to say that we live in the same STATE! 

Even if she is 2 hours away and not 2 miles down the street, I'll take it!! 

Eric and I drove up last weekend to spend some time with everyone. 

I can't wait for all the fun memories that are to come.
