Hello MONDAY! 

Here are my Instagram photos from last week! Not much going on around here. 

1. picked these beauties up at the store

 to start the week off right 

2. wore my bright new lipstick for my hot 

date on Saturday night

3. my date AKA eric took me to Chick-fil-A =) 

4. getting the running shoes ready for marathon training!

5. love the .69 cent 32 oz at quick-trip

 6. finally found some ripe georgia peaches and 

enjoyed them on my salad

7. Made PUPPY CHOW or muddy buddies as some call it

pence family reunion 2012

WOW, I didn't realize how many pictures I actually had until I started putting them into collages and ended up with 12, and that wasn't even all my photos, just my favorites! For not having my camera for 2 out of the 4 days I ended up with a lot of pics! I was sad when I realized I left my extra camera battery at home charging, but I'm just thankful for the photos I did get. 

Eric and I had such a blast being back in Iowa and learning so much about the Pence heritage, oh and the food and company weren't bad either =) It was great to see cousins that I haven't seen in years. We enjoyed sitting out by the pond, paddle boating, catching frogs, ridding the go-cart and dune buggy around the farm, playing with the kitties, eating lots of yummy food, sharing stories and memories, singing songs and much much more! 

It's a long trip driving up through Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois and Missouri

 and then back down, but it was worth every hour! 

I love being home in Eldora at my parents in the summertime and enjoying the beautiful 

yard my Dad has created, so green and colorful!

My dad fixed up his old dune buggy and we had a blast crusin' through our small town!

My adorable and youngest niece, Lia. She is so precious 

We spent a day at the Eldora pool before the crazy festivities started! 

Bryson and Annabelle had a blast on the slides, Bry even got Gma to go down with him!

All gathered at the cemetery where we heard testimonies from the 

brothers (minus Mike- we missed you!) and sang "Love One Another"

Eric and I just got back to Georgia late last night from another trip to Iowa. We left early last Wednesday and headed UP to Iowa and had a fabulous weekend with the Pence family at our first family reunion! I have lots and lots of pictures to share from the weekend, but I wanted to share my instagram photos first! So here goes...

 I am a recent discoverer of instagram and I love, love LOVE it! I am slowly but surely figuring it out so I thought I'd share and maybe attempt to start sharing 10 instagram photos every week. After living WAY too far away from a temple for WAY too long, we were excited to get a chance to go with our ward on Thursday night! We are looking forward to making it a priority in our lives again.

more duluth

I went exploring downtown Duluth yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! It reminded me a lot of Eldora, it had that quaint, small town feeling. Lots of small little shops and cafes. I parked and wandered around with my camera and snapped a few pictures here and there. 

There was this cute little park with a huge water fountain and an outdoor amphitheater.

This sign was at the entrance of the park...

...right after I took that picture this kid whizzed passed me on his skateboard, nice.

Funny story: I was busy taking photos of the water fountain and the pretty flowers when the gentlemen on the left approached me and asked if I would take their picture! Of course I said yes and he gave me a long story of how he needed a picture of himself to put in the Duluth community book because he is going to be teaching a beginners guitar class and he really needed a good picture (he wanted the picture to look like he was "teaching") Hahaa! After a few minutes of him convincing me that I needed to bring my husband with me to his class (even though I tried to tell him that I didn't have a guitar) he gave me his business card with an e-mail address so I could send him the photo. It made my day.
