ruby falls

I'm going to take a little breather from my instagram post this week just because I have so much to catch up on from this last week!! Seriously, TONS of pictures! I'm so excited to finally have lots to blog about! We have safely arrived in Eldora after an incredible week of traveling through Georgia to Tennessee to lllinois and to Iowa.

First stop: Chattanooga, Tennessee where we stopped to experience the incredible Ruby Falls. We had seen several signs for the tourist site while traveling from Eldora to Atlanta but never stopped. Well, this time we did, and it was worth the stop! Ruby Falls is located in an underground cave where you can see the highest underground waterfall of 145 feet. We only had so much time to get a quick picture before the lights
went out- don't mind the random people in our photo

We had the funniest tour guide through the cave, she just had one of those loud tour guide voices.
I just couldn't help myself...

After experiencing the falls we rode back up 260 ft. to ground level and headed up a long staircase to lookout mountain where you can see the entire city of Chattanooga.
