road trip

Eric and I woke up at 4:45 on Monday morning May 7th and started our road trip to GEORGIA! 

I wanted to get some pictures of the state signs and the cities that we drove through but it rained pretty much the entire day, and I slept the first 5 hours : ) ha. Here's what I was awake to get:

I missed Missouri the first state since I was...well, sleeping.

We made a pit stop in "Metropolis" IL, to get these gems 

 

KENTUCKY

and TENNESSEE 

Nashville!! where I completed my first 1/2 marathon! good memories, beautiful city

and finally GEORGIA! I gotta say I was disappointed in their welcoming sign

After a long day of driving we finally made it to Duluth, GA where we will be for the summer and then off to our next adventure (I'll be sure to let you know when I know where that will be).

 But for now we are enjoying our little extended stay hotel with a little stove and a little fridge and a little closet and little tv and little sink. 

Speaking of road trips, Mom flies in tomorrow and we are headed down to Florida for a few days! YAY for Mom coming and YAY for another road trip!
