These pictures pretty much sum up what I've been up to this week.

When my parents were here we went to the botanical gardens and my dad picked up some tomato plants for me and found a nice spot in our yard to plant them, so I've been taking good care of them and they are growing! BIG! and even getting little yellow buds!

My new favorite thing thanks to Lynz, are grilled cheese sandwiches with pickles! YUMMM. My go-to now for lunch everyday. 

I've been a bracelet making maniac this week! I just learned how to make the chevron pattern so it's my new favorite thing. 

Tis the season for guavas! Our landlords have a tree and there's nothing better than a nice ripe fresh guava to satisfy you for the day. 

The hard working medical student at his home away from home, his corner desk where he spends most of his time. 

Went on a walk the other day and ran into this little guy. He let me get close enough to snap this quick shot. 

Eric and I have accumulated quite the change jar while we've been here and I'm not planning on bringing it home or leaving it behind so I've been throwing chucks of change into my pockets and paying with exact change everywhere we go! It's definitely putting a dent in the jar! 

The past couple of days Lynz and I have been volunteering at the animal shelter where they have 2 adorable pups. We've been going in the mornings to feed them breakfast, clean out their cages and just run and play with them. We are growing quite attached! Hope they find a good home soon.
